Mutants are a rare phenomenon that occurs when breeding full sibling bunnies together. These special bunnies posses a change in appearance that occurs only in that mutant bunny (the change is not a gene that can passed on to the mutant’s offspring).

There are a variety of physical differences a mutant may have. It could mean that the bunny’s foot, ear, tail, head, etc is a different fur type from the rest of its body. The special trait is not always obvious as some furs closely resemble one another. You know you have a mutant based on the extra line of information in the bunny’s hovertext that clearly labels it a mutant.
